Project Coordinator / Programme Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Project Coordinator / Programme Manager to join our team and play a key role in our operations and project delivery. The successful candidate will be ensuring smooth communication, efficient project execution, and adherence to budget and schedule.
You will be working remotely or on a hybrid basis, but will frequently travel within the day for delivery of face-to-face meetings / events, internally and externally for prospective clients and existing clients or other business partners.
Our delivery team comprises of qualified specialists with diverse experience and multidisciplinary technical and financial advisory skills. We leverage on our expertise to maximise benefit for our clients who invest in construction, property acquisition or innovation projects.

What will you be doing?
- Have a good understanding of the businesses’ services and be able to advise others about them.
- Research and identify new business opportunities – including new markets, growth areas, trends, clients, partnerships, products and services – or new ways of reaching existing markets.
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation.
- Generate leads and cold call prospective clients.
- Meet with clients face to face or virtually, and foster and develop relationships with them.
- Negotiate pricing with clients, and draw up contracts.
- Understand the needs of your clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
- Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business.
- Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes.
- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organisation, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
- Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate.
- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
- Liaise with the finance team, seek ways of improving the way the business operates, and develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate; keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world, and help to plan sales campaigns, as well as creating a sales pipeline.
- Increase sales for the business; carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management.
What will you need for the role?
- Understanding of project management principles and scheduling techniques.

- Skills in organisation, evaluation and ability to adapt your approach where required in order to maximise impact.
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets.
- Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with clients.
- Written and verbal communication skills – needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills.
- IT skills, including the use of spreadsheets and proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks effectively, and prioritise under pressure, this includes, decision-making skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritise your workload.
- Project management and organisational skills, and the ability to motivate yourself and set your own goals.
- Negotiating skills, the ability to think strategically, and the ability to analyse sales figures and write reports.
- A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch.
- A full driving licence and a willingness to travel to client sites is a requirement.
